wilderness float

A float trip through the wilderness is something every fly fisherman should have on their bucket list. It's an adventure that is about far more than just the fishing. While you may be hooked to a trophy trout or a bunch of graylings, riding through a roadless wilderness in rugged scenery without crowds or signal makes a memorable experience. This is an exclusive service from one experienced fly fisherman to another—the real deal.

This float trip takes place on the Ivalojoki River, covering a 50 km route. For the best fishing experience, the trip is ideally spread over 3 to 4 nights.

For the 6-day option, you can choose a grand 90 km float. This float is available for solo travelers, and I reserve the right to shorten the trip to the usual 50 km in extremely low water conditions.

The powerful migratory browns from the lake Inari will be entering the river system all summer. Most daytime fishing happens on the move from the raft. We will be camping in a tent by the river's top fishing spots for easy wade fishing access.

Walk & Wade Trip | full day

Whether you’re an angler who just wants to go out and catch some grayling or someone who’s looking for a serious trout hunt, it’s all within reach. In Saariselkä, we are surrounded by countless smaller streams with great populations of trout and grayling. Usually the physical effort pays off but, not all anglers can very readily walk extensive distances and wade, so we'll adjust the day accordingly.

1-4 rods, 600€/day.

Arctic sea trout camp — Alta (no)

Spring and early summer are the prime season for sea trout and Arctic char in the fjords of Northern Norway. As the sea temperatures start to rise, trout move close to shore to feed. They patrol the shallows with the tides, and the fishing is both demanding and rewarding.

This camp takes place in the Alta region, where the rugged coastline and long northern days create the perfect setting for a memorable fishing experience. In partnership with Arctic Tours, the focus is on time on the water, good food, and a place to rest between sessions.

The trip includes five nights at the camp with four full fishing days, plus optional sessions on arrival and departure.

Group departure (4–8 anglers)
1,150 € / person

Private trip (up to 4 anglers)
4,900 €

Private trip (5–8 anglers)
9,800 €

One guide for up to four anglers; with five or more, there are two guides at the camp.

Included in the trip: transfers from the Ivalo region or Alta airport, local transportation during the stay (or the option to meet at the camp if arriving by car), twin-room or cabin accommodation, guiding on the water, and full board with breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Trips run on pre-determined timeframes. Check availability from the front page.
